As of May 6, 2020, our enhanced Cruise with Confidence program gives you even more flexibility.
Whether you’re already booked on a cruise, or are thinking about it, we want you to Cruise with Confidence. That’s why Royal Caribbean will let you cancel any cruise that sets sail from now through April 30th, 2022. Whether it’s a booking you already have or one you make right now through July 31st, 2021, you’re covered. As long as you cancel at least 48 hours before your sail date, you’ll receive a Future Cruise Credit. The credit is valid to book by April 30th, 2022 and sail by September 30th, 2022.
As of May 6th, 2020 we have also added the new “Best Price Guarantee” option outlined below.
• Best Price Guarantee -Spot a better price on your booked cruise? Our Best Price Guarantee lets you take advantage of a better price up to 48 hours before your sail date — just give us a call. You’ll receive the difference as a non-refundable onboard credit inside final payment or rate adjustment outside final payment.
What you need to know
• As long as you cancel at least 48 hours before your sail date, you’ll receive a Future Cruise Credit.
• The Cruise with Confidence program covers bookings that are booked on or before July 31st, 2021, that set sail on or before April 30th, 2022.

Q : What is the Cruise with Confidence policy?
A : As of May 6th, 2020, we have enhanced and expanded our Cruise with Confidence policy to give you even more peace of mind. The new Cruise with Confidence policy allows our guests that booked their cruise on or before July 31st, 2021, to cancel any cruise departing on-or-before April 30th, 2022, up to 48 hours before your sail date and receive a Future Cruise Credit. The credit can be used toward any cruise that sets sail through September 30th, 2022.
Q : Do all sailings qualify for “Cruise with Confidence”?
A : Cruise with Confidence covers cruises booked on or before July 31st, 2021, that set sail on or before April 30th, 2022.
Q : How long will I have to redeem my Future Cruise Credit?
A : Cruise with Confidence Future Cruise Credits expire April 30, 2022. You must redeem the FCC for a cruise that departs on or before September 30, 2022.
Q : How do I cancel or move my cruise?
A : If you booked with a Travel Advisor, please contact them for assistance with your cancellation. If you booked directly with us, please give us a call or email us at book@rccl.ae. Remember, you or your Travel Advisor must notify us of your cancellation at least 72 hours before the day you set sail. We appreciate your patience as call volume may be higher than normal.
Q : What happens if there’s a difference in cruise fare between the Future Cruise Credit I receive, and the cruise that I would like to book next?
A : If the cruise fare on your new booking exceeds the Future Cruise Credit’s value, you will have to pay the difference. Alternatively, if the new cruise fare is lower than the Future Cruise Credit’s value, a new Future Cruise Credit will be issued for the remaining balance.
Q : Are Future Cruise Credits interchangeable between Royal Caribbean’s family of brands?
A : No, you’ll have to apply your Future Cruise Credit to a future cruise onboard Royal Caribbean International.
Q : Do standard Final Payment timelines still apply during this timeframe?
A : Yes, full payment is still required at 75 days-to-sailing for departures 1-4 nights in length and 90 days-to-sailing for 5+ nights.
Q : How are Non-Refundable Deposit bookings impacted by this policy update?
A : Non-Refundable Deposits that were booked on or before July 31st, 2021 and are sailing on-or-before April 30th, 2022 are eligible for the Cruise with Confidence Policy and follow the same guidelines. Prior to the Final Payment deadline, guests with a Non-Refundable Deposit bookings that wish to change to a different ship or sail date can do so with no fee assessed prior to July 31st, 2021 – the change fee will be waived.
Q : If I move forward with the Best Price Guarantee, and I am issued onboard credit, when will I get it?
A : The Best Price Guarantee program allows guests to take advantage of better rates up to 48 hours prior to sail date! Guests must be booked on or before July 31st, 2021 for sailings that depart on or before April 30th, 2022 and they can request the difference of their booked rates versus any rate reduction. The difference in pricing will be added to the booking as an onboard credit, inside final payment, and it’ll be applied within 14 business days, and a new confirmation will be generated with the Onboard Credit value.
Q : Upon cancellation, will I be credited for any pre-cruise purchases, such as beverage packages, shore excursions, etc.?
A : Yes, pre-cruise purchase will be refunded to the original form of payment.
Q : When it comes to the Cruise with Confidence notification window, what exactly is “up to 72 hours before”?
A : Due to immigration requirements, Royal Caribbean needs a full 72 hours to process your cancellation before your day of departure. Here are day-by-day scenarios below, to help you understand exact timing. It may seem technical, but we’re trying to give you as much time to make your decision as we can. (a) before the final payment due date of the booking (the“Final Payment due date”), if the guest paid a non-refundable deposit (“NRD”) to RCI on the booking, the guest will receive an FCC equal to the amount of the NRD paid. RCI will refund any other payments it received toward the guest’s cruise fare.
(b) after the Final Payment due date, the guest will receive a CWC FCC equal to 100% of the cruise fare paid to RCI.
